All went smooth as silk for me!
Bought the WOFF_3 Expansion from AVANGATE via PAYPAL. Short time after that I received my download link via E-mail. Downloaded it. Downloaded from the OBD website the patch to v3.2 and also the patches for all my 3 add-ons.
Now I deactivated all mods. Then I deactivated the DX9 shader in "Workshop" (just a precaution). Then I restarted my rig.
Now I installed WOFF_3 expansion, and then the patch v3.2 next; after that the 3 patches for my 3 add-ons.
Started WOFF, and found that my key and controller settings had remained untouched - great! Switched the DX9 shader on. Flew a test in QC - all seemed to work fine!
After that I re-activated my mods, and flew another QC. Now it seems I'm ready for exploring WOFF_3 over the coming weekend.
Thank you, Winder & Pol and all at OBD - great job!

Remember, I was the AV problem.
BTW, you guys might want to add to the FAQ that 360 Total Security doesn't play well with WOFF.

The best way to avoid such problems may be for installing programs you can trust, to go offline after the download, and then switch the AV off for the install.
Make sure to re-activate your AV after you are through with installation.
Also, a good AV should have a "gaming mode", where it would recognise that you started a game. In this mode, it would postpone performance- hungry actions, but still take all necessary protective actions.

Olham, you are a cruel, cruel man. Naw - you just had it the hard way - sh*t can happen, Banjoman! I was just lucky; my money came in late this month, so I had to wait with my purchase for a while. It was just the time it needed for them to recognise and eliminate some possible problems. And I must say, it was a very short time - the support was again top-notch; the solutions came so fast, that I feared I might be the only outdated sad sod for a while now. But then my money also came! Guess what I did first? Looking forward for the weekend ! ... PS: I hope everything is fine now on your end?

Pips, in my KASPERSKY Internet Security, I found the game mode under
Settings > Performance > Mode for Games
That mode still provides full protection. Only such tasks will get postponed, which are not needed for instant safety.
And, as I said before - maybe a good idea to go offline before install, and then to de-activate the Anti-Virus only just for the installation of WOFF. After that, you switch it on again.

Hi Olham, I installed WOFF 3 as you did. Didn't even think about my AVG pro running at the time and it all worked fine. It seemed I didn't need the 3.2 patch as it obviously came with my download from last night. Anyway, it said I didn't need it and the workshops shows 3.2 installed. Haven't done much flying yet though, all mods reinstalled and working fine as far as I can see. Everything backed up all over the place just in case! I use EasUS backup (a lovely program to use) for my OBD Software directory and all installs backed up to DVD now using Nero.
I did wonder what happened to a lot of workshop settings until I realised there are now two pages of workshop. Ha Ha

Good point, Jim! Backing up all downloads, can save us - and the devs - a lot of trouble. Glad you're airworthy - now I hope you'll find the time to fly!
