good deal Archie! If you make it down this way give a shout, being a local tour guide is right up my alley.

Congratulations Archie! Retirement is a good thing, for an active person. Hope you have thought of some varied interests. I've found that I still run out of time to do it all. Can't see how I ever found the time to 'work'! Enjoy! And don't be a stranger, this will still, always be, your 'home away from home'.....

and you do know that a Miata is a chick car right? One very nice Jacksonville, FL weekend we rented a Chrysler Sebring convertible to drive the coastal areas. We're totally sold on convertibles, even if we've never owned one. Tell us what car today compares to the Miata in price and features, other than possibly the Mustang and Camaro V6, but that's a different type of car. GM broke my heart in '89 with no Fiero, then again more recently when they discontinued the Sky/Solstice. Screw'um. EDIT: Never mind about the Ponies, even the sixes now are pumping out 300 horses, different league altogether (and price reflects this).

I was joking about the Miata's. I'm entertaining the idea of getting one. Great handling with a top notch reputation and decent prices. Whats not to like.

I got ribbed by nearly all my mates when I bought my MX-5 (Miata) in 2010 but it was the most fun I've ever had in a car.In fact it was more fun than a lot of bikes I've owned too.
EV's are the Devils matchbox.
