Hot off the press. LoL

It seems Esim have modelled the Argentinian TAM Tank
This is an interesting choice it shares many components with the German army Marder IFV
It wont be playable but even still looking forward to seeing it in action.
Will post more info when available.

There's also speculation that Esim are modelling 3D crew members for the vehicles.
But no confirmation on that yet,

No longer speculation Crew members can not only be seen but you can snipe at them as well.
Also one of the development team posted that they are going to try to add 3D crew member's to most of the previously implemented vehicles
By the release date. Very cool.

four variants of the TAM on show. TAM Tank. command vehicle. IFV. and 155 arty piece.
here's the video showcasing the TAM https://youtu.be/3EOJrqB7Mtc

Man, it's been more than three days since the last video. LOL. Nothing added in the 4.0 features thread, nor anything new mentioned in the 4.0 discussion thread in the official fan site. I'm getting antsy here, Ssnake. biggrin

Have fun at your ITEC show, btw.

You're always free to ask. Some of the stuff that I posted was triggered by your questions.

In any case, fear not - it's Tuesday, which means a new video. smile

Well, if it's supposed to last until at least a few weeks prior to the actual release I can't publish everything right away. Video production sucks up a disproportionate amount of my time and next week this time will probably be the last day that I can upload a video to the channel. From then on we'll have to make the remaining stock last until June.

Well, in this case the decision was relatively easy. We basically assume an M1's fire control system, 120mm smoothbore gun, all M1- and Leopard certified ammunition. It's not directly playable, but introduces a concept that is interesting from a tactical perspective. Plus, it might serve as a stand-in for the Armata, so it has quite a few arguments going for it.

Is it possible that the Chieftain is playable ... please say its so ... always had a soft spot for it
Looking forward to this update ...

Dont think of it as being vastly outnumbered ... but just having a large target selection.

The only thing more accurate than incoming fire, is incoming friendly fire

Tracers work BOTH ways...

New video showing a duel between a T-72B and the TTB
the TTB seems to reload very quickly.

This is what I enjoy about SB the attention to detail.

If playable and that's a big if.
What an addition to the SB stable.
The SB community has been hoping for a playable French tank for awhile the Leclerc is fast very fast for a fifty ton tank and has a state of The Art fire control system. should be a worthy opponent for the M1 and leo-2. I will be in my CR-2 hoping it slows down enough so I can shoot at it. LoL

one of the best features IMO of SB is the mission/map editor.
A very powerful tool looking at the new additions I already see the potential for some exciting none cold war type missions
The merkava v the leclerc comes to mind two very well matched opponents

Even if not crewable, the Leclerc will still be fun to tinker around with in the scenario/mission editor. It's a beautiful model, that's for sure.

Another video showing the improved visual effects being implemented in the 4.0 update.
Excellent work Esim.
Plus a pic of a merkava in its natural habitat.
Esim have modelled the merkava's unique ability to carry troops inside the tank but you will have less ammo.
So there's a trade off. the version modelled by Esim is the mk2 with the 105 gun.

New video showing a couple of new additions
Two of which were high on my wish list. The Cobra gunship and the T-55AM.
The weather effects look great as well.

https://youtu.be/zdMlQKGF6dw

isn't she a beauty.

[img]http://simhq.com/forum/files/usergals/20...d6f9ceba0e1.jpg[/img

Ssnake have there been improvements to the flight dynamics and AI behaviour for the gunships.
The Cobra certainly looks the part.
Add that, to the new shoot at command this could make them for more lethal then in previous versions of SB.
Also will there be additional AAA. vehicle types available.
