"The Jungle Book" actually looks pretty good.

Nope. The remake from 1988 was quite excellent.

The JUngle Book seems a reasonable move.

I would like a remake of "The Ox-Bow Incident" and a faithful remake of "Hamlet" (1948)

It is very hard to explain, I believe the apparition of the King's ghost wearing armor in black and white with the cheap smoke is scarier than anything modern renditions could make. Seems also to be the most faithful on-screen adaptation I've ever encountered (anyone who can correct me please point me to a better one so that I may enjoy watching it.)

How about reboots? Can we include those in this thread so we don't have to start a separate new thread?

They are planning to reboot the Die Hard franchise with a younger John McClane and go back to 1979 when he was a rookie cop.

Les Wiseman is going to do it... oh please no! He is one of the worse director ever!

Just because he has a FAMOUS HOT wife, it doesn't mean he should get all the A projects.

Saw The Jungle Book today..........very impressive, although pretty dark for a PG.

The amount of CGI to reproduce the scene with the primates must have cost them a fortune!

The film is getting rave reviews and it definitelhy seems like John Favreau has more than made up for his "Cowboys and Aliens" debacle.
