I would say yes.Some of these lyrics are very subtle whilst others are clearly not.Back in the 60's/70's and maybe even the 80's anything too risqu would get banned on the air (at least here in the UK) so I guess the writers used a very subtle approach with their writing.

At first glance these lyrics look very innocent but as I discovered with '96 tears' the writer clearly had his mind on a particular sex act.
