EA/Origin has announced that they will give away MoH: Pacific Assault for free for a limited time. Just log into your Origin account and check under "on the house". ATM it's listed as "coming soon", so just check back in the coming days if you're interested.

It's probably worth downloading for free for the Pearl Harbor level, which was very impressive at the time - I remember it brought my rig to standstill. However the later stuff got a bit "on-rails" tedious with some of the jungle path stuff... sniper, hut, sniper, banzai, sniper, hut, banzai, sniper, etc etc. I preferred Deadly Dozen's level design which was much more open.

That one had some nice elements to it. I still have it but never finished it. Had some real atmospheric levels in it.

No, you can use it for free. It's like Steam...just not as good.

I already had a valid EA Origin account and I didn't even know it.

Must be leftover from the days I played Madden NFL games.

I can't get past the last screen in boot camp where you are supposed to map 4 commands. Can't get the lats command to map.

Just added it to my account, will check it out later.

Played through boot camp without problems. Used the standard squad commands (arrow keys).

I did not have any problems with mapping either

Okay I got past boot camp and are at the beginning of Pearl Harbor where I have to go into the Arizona, I believe, and look for survivors.
