Great shots,,,everytime you post pics of xplanes planes it makes want to buy them. I have not been flying xplane much but have been making scenery for it. My project is small airfields of Iowa and xplane helps make that possible with great scenery editing softwared and sketchbook also lends a hand.

Put up a very short video of the scenery I am working on. I have been to the Antique Airfield long ago and thought I wanted to fly to it in X-Plane so here is the progress so far.

Thanks to the Antique Airplane Association's great web site for all the pictures that helped with the structures, signs and other unique items at this field. All buildings had to be modeled as well as signs and assorted objects.

Work in progress and yes I know the orange windsock pole is sticking through hangar number one's lower roof smile

The biggest problem is finding vintage static aircraft to populate the field - anyone know of any post please.

Sweet, I see you have found some of Clipwings planes. A. Lynn Lockrow. He has been making classics
since version 6x. He actually goes to Blakesburg. Known him for years. Would like to make it down
there some time and film the action in 4k.

Thanks I would love to get in touch with Clipwing because I have modifed his Monocoupes and painted about 8 so far. I am getting ready to do a video of 10 or so Monocoupes taking off from the Antique Airfield so had to paint and name new versions to work with X-Plane 10. I also made some of them long wings to mix it up a bit.

You need some of Heinz`s old Beech 18 and few others to help to.
Could always send a PM to Clipwing at the org forum.

A little airport in Long island NY called Spadaro. Tough to get in and out of. lots of trees and mostly dirt and grass. I flew into this airport for real once back in the late 80's and its a scary ride. Cliff Robertson kept one of his planes here way back. I think it was a Baron.

This is the Carenado C210 with Reality Expansion Pack. (similar to accusim) The combo, makes this one of my favorite GA planes for X-plane.

Love the shot of it being towed down the highway.
