The local college I work for as an ICT technician had an annexe in a different town which has now closed and, while we were there yesterday sorting out the stuff we want to keep and what was to go for recycling we came across this. It's an Epson EB-450W short throw projector. It's about 2 years old and in full working order.




It was to be scrapped so I asked if I could have it. Shocker, the boss said yes!

I've been trying to find a way to use a normal projector (which I have) using a first surface mirror to project on to the cockpit screen. Guess I don't need to bother with that now .......

they seem to have very good replacement and original bulbs here highly recommended.. Especially if it is a Osram PVIP Bulb these need to be specifically made some that say are OEM or Original replacement can actually hurt the projector.. that is because they are cheap copys and not really and good but jaspertronics has good quality stuff..

EDIT: PRojector central is a great resource for Projectors they even have a distance calculator to get asn idea of how far back and size of screen size for said projector..

It seems you have a native res of 1280x800 which is a 16:10. that is 720P Basically it should go higher but that is the native resolution
