As the Xbox One is nothing more than a Windows 10 PC, this is not very surprising. Very little, if any "porting" to do on the developer side. Aim for the PC, then clip out the mouse/keyboard/generic USB controller and leave only the Xbox controller code.

But they are bringing Mouse/Keyboard support to the XBOX ONE in upcoming firmware release. Was just reading that you can play the upcoming Quantum Break on XBOX, then jump over to the PC and continue the game. Hmmm. Who is going to preorder Quantum Break? If you get it for XBOX One, you get a free download for Win10 PC as well.

I was reading they won't have support for any controllers other than the Xbox gamepad, though. So HOTAS and steering wheels won't work with them, which is a major step back. The Jedi Master

I haven't bought a game from MS since Forza 3 for my 360. I haven't bought an MS game for the PC since CFS3 in 2002.
I'm not really concerned.

The original was, not the rerelease. I forget whether that predates CFS3 or not. Either way, it's been over a decade since I bought a game from MS.

Should have been this way since the 360, at least.
They would be smart to run Steam Big Picture, and make the X1 a highly affordable Windows Steam box.
They won't give up on their own store yet though to do that.
