After an extended Hiatus I've upgraded my rig and reinstalled WOFF 2 with all the new expansions. There is much rejoicing!!! biggrin
Alas, WOFF does not recognize my new SLAW Rudder pedals in game.

Link: http://SimHQ.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3887591/Slaw_Device_109_Pedals

WOFF Keymap shows input and allows axis binding but that's as far as I get. As an experiment I made a full install of CFS3 but that program doesn't recognize the pedals at all. Following all the recommended binding and unbinding instructions from the FAQ did not succeed.

I scanned 2 previous related threads, one with VKB pedals, the other with CH but both those pedals come with dedicated software.
I suspect the issue lies in the fact that SLAW pedals are literally plug and play and do come with any software.
Lacking knowledge of how Windows 7 assigns drivers I'm stumped.

Any help greatly appreciated.

My System Specs:

Asus Maximus Hero VIII
Samsung 950 PRO M.2 SSD - 256 GB
16GB DDR4
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 - 2GB VRAM

Hi epower,

I use CH stuff, but have never installed the CH software - I use them as plug and play. Everything works fine in Windows, WOFF and CloD. Do the pedals show up in Control Panel/ Devices and Printers? If they do then they should work in WOFF. Have you tried different USB ports? Sometimes some controllers don't play well with powered hubs. They like to be direct to the computer mainboard.

Hope this helps,

RedToo.

I am using MFG Crosswind pedals, had the same problem with WoFF when it came out. It turned out that CFS3 ,and many other older sims, needs a Controler to have atleast an X and Y axis to detect the controler ingame. I guess your pedals axis are called "Rz" for the rudder, "Rx" and "Ry" for the brakes. Atleast in my case it was like that. A change in the Firmware was needed to change the Brake axis to "X" and "Y". The same problem was reported for Elite: Dangerous btw.

I would contact Slaw for help in this regard. If I remember correctly someone too had the same problem with Slaw pedals and got it solved quickly.

Thank you both, RedToo and Lausbub78.

Issue Resolved. The situation was exactly as Lausbub78 described above. An email to SLAW got me an immediate response and the firmware update. Procedure was extremely simple.

Thank you again RedToo and Lausbub78 for your assistance. Hopefully when the issue comes up for another they will find this thread

My error, Polovski. I noticed after I made the post that it was in the wrong forum. Anticipating the increased use of MFG Crosswind and SLAW Pedals, perhaps an addendum to the official FAQ might be in order.

At long last, I can explore WOFF on max settings!
