It magically started working again today...

Quick question master. Did yall place the foundation and ladder INSIDE your cave or was it there all along. I tried to place some stuff inside the cave and could not get it to work.

I placed it there so we could get back up from that cliff instead of going all the way around. For me it just placed fine but that was a long time ago. There might have been a server change that prevents people from building in caves since then.

Ugh. If the client updates and the server hasn't, you can't see the server any more.

YAY ark server hosting lol This is the worst part about this game by far. The devs have no care about servers. They should sent out the patches to servers the day before release not a few hours after.

So yesterday I log on after working for a couple of hours on thursday night (patch 233.1 night) and find that the server has reverted to wednesday's save. Then I log on this morning after about 30 minutes because I am gun shy (patch 234 night) and we have again reverted back to wednesday.

So my question is when does the server do its saves? Is it once a day? Can it be increased?

You shouldn't leave yourself laying on a beach like that.

It should do it about once an hour I think. My guess is there was an issue with the patch somehow but again the great devs they are dont tell you anything or at least I dont know where to look for that sort of info.

I'm around this weekend so I'm on and off the server farting around.

Drove into work in heavy fog this morning. Yeah, I had flashbacks.

I really want that quesadilla bird tamed. Think im going to start following rex's around to make that kibble. We already have a few eggs.

I am out this weekend while traveling so I can't help by taking a shift but if there is anything you need me to start stockpiling let me know. The new bird might make things easier.

So what is the biggest dino a pteradon can lift? Does it take damage while carrying them?

I couldnt get it to lift anything but Dilos and Dodos and humans. Im sure it can carry others but I have not been able to.

Also, no it doesnt take damage unless it is a hostile human. Then they can still attack straight up.

Though I couldnt get it to life an oviraptor. Tried for about 10 min.

Dmnit it happened again. Snap, everything we did last night is gone. The save is back to when I started yesterday. I just rage quit. I'll log on tomorrow to see if my character sheet catches up a little like last time.

Yeah, strange. At least I got some screenshots of some of yesterday's adventures.
