Wow, sounds good so far, Andy!

EDIT: ...but maybe too "Impressive"?
How much original are they?
I just checked the sound again of a Mercedes D.IIIa engine - here is my example:

I love the dying pilot scream at around 1:36. Brings the "personal horror" of the war home hard. The sounds while low over the front are well done too. Lots of rifle fire. Well done sir.

Andy, I applaud your efforts Sir, but I'm afraid I must play devil's advocate here and say that all your rotary engines sound more like radial engines. I have personally been around both, and what is currently in WOFF sounds closer to the rotary engines of the day. Don't want to dampen your spirits but I felt compelled to let you know as you have shared your WIP here, I assume for feedback. If I am in error about that assumption then my apologies.

They sound more close in WOFF because they are all authentic with the appropriate AC. Le Rhone 9j, Le Rhone 9c, Gnome Monousoupape, Gnome, Clerget, Oberursel UI, UII, UIII, Mercedes DIII, Mercedes DII, Mercedes DIV, Beardmore, Daimler, Hispano Suiza in different variants etc. etc. Internal and external. I know because I made them. But for the sake of modding, why not. Everybody can do as he pleases and what he likes. wink

Thus explaining why they sound so close to the real thing. biggrin I'd expect nothing less from you and the rest of the WOFF team, Creaghorn.

Yes just pick and choose the ones to use. That's what I do.
Some items are good...some stock is better...some just give a nice change in ambience.
And with JGSME mixing it up is easy. But of course you knew that.
