Hey all,

Not sure if this is something anyone here would be into, but I decided to start doing a "let's play" series of WOFF. We have taken on the role of the new pilot Adjutant William Anderson and his story starting in the summer of 1916. He has joined up with the American Lafayette Escadrille south of Verdun in Behonne.

So far I have done 3 missions, but many more to come from here!

Let me know if you enjoy,

Very unique and interesting approach to career vids. Your dialogue overlay was like a study of WOFF features and pilot experience reporting as opposed to the usual flight log / diary approach most of us take. I look forward to your continuance. I haven't seen any of your posts before so if you are new here, welcome!

Really enjoy the voice over aspect of your approach to WOFF.
Have you tried doing the voice over from the pilot character point of view rather then the WOFF player? Could be more immersive to the viewer.

Really interesting presentation!

Honestly, I like his 'WOFF player' POV presentation. Good job, Alpenman!

Don't get me wrong, I like the 'pilot journal' presentations as well, but sometimes it's good to see what the PLAYER thinks.

Plus, most You Tube Let's Plays serve as an intro to the game. More intros means more potential people playing!

I hope you don't mind Alpenman, I thought people might want to see the others so far:

# 2 - Germans

# 3 - Lemmes

I'm very impressed so far.

Very cool Alpenman thumbsup

May I suggest that you don't use the throttle lever when flying the rotary engine, but only numbers 1, 4, 7 and 0 as throttle setting and otherwise using the blipswitch to kill speed etc.?

Very fun to watch. I like the voice over stuff. Keep it going wave

Your commentary and the approach Alpenman is refreshing hope to see more. If you do more as the series goes on it would be better to edit more of the outwards journey I think but great stuff!

Alpenman, great videos! I'm pretty sure that you're the same person behind some great GPL race videos that are out there on YT. I think I recognize the voice and style smile

Keep 'em coming!

Alpenman, I don't know how I missed your 1st post but better late than never. Love the format! Look forward to more of the series.

Very nice.

Anyone else have a tendency when watching WOFF videos to turn their head to look around? I sure do.

All the time! I'm glad someone else does. It either means I am not crazy or we both are.

You seem to be shooting from a long way out.

Good so far though.

I've posted on my FB page about them.

I really enjoyed the videos and I hope they draw some new folks to the wonderful world of WOFF. I did notice that you have the FOV really far back, is that just how you like it or did you not know you can change it? Anyway, keep them coming.

.

I had the opportunity this AM to watch your videos Alpenman. Outstanding! They do a fine job of showing off our beloved sim so please continue with the series. Also, thanks for the tip-of-the-hat to my map set - much appreciated.

Cheers!

Lou
