In Russian this is called on-Board navigation lights. I n the different campaigns they differ from each other! How to do the lights as in the screenshot number 2? Lights are turned "V". Does anyone know how to make side navigation lights?I want them to do on KA 29.

Create a light in Lightwave Layout and set its type to "Point" in Properties. Change its colour and position. It shouldn't be in movement hierarchy, i.e. no parent is allowed for it. That's all.

Scene modification is required. Thay will be used automatically and controlled manually.
Light texture is FLARE001, that name is hardcoded in the game and has no strict reference with flare.txt animation used in effects. The latter can be changed without code modification but it will not influence the subject.
Game takes position of a point light and draws a billboard with texture there.

Thank You FireBird! I understand how to make on-Board navigation lights. Now I need to find a diagram of where they are located on KA29 and everything will be OK.But whatever the lights were as the screen No.2 should FLARE001.tga(as a ball) to make this as FLARE001.bmp-(she's like a snowflake or a star)!Translation GOOGLE

Only one texture with the specified name is used in the game - either XXX.bmp or XXX.tga, but not both simultaneously.
If more than one is present (even if different directories) - it's a big problem, because it is unspecified which of them will be used.

Well, two red light are seen on Ka-32.

I think Ka-29 does not have more.

The model in my previous post has one light at the bottom too.
