I believe TF will have a DK2 soon. Just hearing that TF will look at the possibility of implementing VR made my day.

I just posted in the thread, I have a DK2, and if someone and TF needs it, I'm happy to provide feedback/testing/ or to ship the thing to whoever may need it.

Any VR be it the Rift or Vive will be amazing for flight sims and might be the shot in the arm the genre needs to attract people back.
Years ago I managed to get the original Nvidia shutter glasses/TrackIR going with IL-2 and even though the view out of the window wasn't useable, I had a taster of sitting in a 3D cockpit and being able to look around.

Finding contacts may, or may not be a problem for most people, we simply don't know yet. It was with the DK2, and no word yet on the CV1, other the obviously improved display, optic lenses, and the DCS devs saying that the comparison between the two was like night and day. I know I will probably still have a problem, as I couldn't see the contacts with a monitor anyway, and always flew with people who could. I usually don't fly in Icon servers, but 90% of combat flight simmers do, so they won't have a problem with finding contacts in VR.
