"Leviathan Wakes: Book 1 of The Expanse" by S.A. Corey. So far (around a quarter through) a great story - slightly different from the TV series though.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

I just finished Dune again. I am about to start Dune Messiah (again). Children of Dune was just purchased and is ready on my Kindle in case I get ambitious with Messiah and read too fast. I'll be re-reading those 3 again soon. I also like the last 3 Dune books by Herbert (God Emperor, Heretics, Chapterhouse) but IMHO they are not nearly as good as the first 3. One of these days I would love to hear your version of the ideal Dune movie directed by your ideal director and ideal cast and etc . . . I mean, I love Star Wars but Dune has so much more depth . . . prequel within prequel within prequel . . . or sequel. At least there is no Jar-Jar Dib . . .
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

To be honest, Dune would be best served by a mini-series. There's just way too much depth and content in Dune to put it into a film unless you were to make 2 films that were over 3 hours each. The SyFy miniseries from 2000 was a step in the right direction but it suffered from having a low budget and several of the actors were just not very good.

Just finished The Forever War by Joe Halderman. No idea what I am going to start next. Last summer I was trying to read Flemming's James Bond novels but stopped on the 3rd or 4th one due to lack of time. I may try to pick that back up. Or maybe finally start in on some of the books I got for Christmas 2014.
