the chute is a nice touch!


I think I'm gonna break this one out again over the winter. Dump $150 or so into quality add-ons and Just take a weekend and really get her setup right. It's clear from this thread that it pays of in spades; It looks like folks are finally getting the lighting close to the 'crisp' look FSK has, and the scenery looks as good, if not better. Plus, XPX has always 'felt' better in the FM dept, especially with Helis (which I'm taking more and more of a shine too).

Nice shots!

Rotate MD-80, as I'm a sucker for old airliners.

Beautiful model and the detail for all the old mechanical bits is great. Old enough that you can turn off all the electronics and hydraulics and it'll fly fine with the mechanically linked controls. Love that they modeled the little tabs that "fly" the elevators and ailerons into place.
