Does it work though? Steam routinely sells vintage games that won't work on modern systems and doesn't bother to tell the customers. Low price is the bait. They sold us World in Conflict which nobody managed to get to work, even though we tried very hard on the Steam discussion forums.

You should be okay MZ. I had the original disk also ( 2 copies) and neither would reinstall after I had to replace my HD. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the new HD but probably something more to do with the latest windows updates. I went and got the GoG version but Steam's version shouldn't be any different. I was able to add the OMF editor and add all my favorite mods also. Our rig's are pretty similar so you should be okay. Cheers

Just downloaded the game, but I would appreciate if you could let me have a copy of OMF editor and your favorite mods also.
Most cites that I tried are dead links.
thanks

I would be interested for sure if I could get all my old mods back. I remember I could put my own art on the flight jackets and other things were doable. If anyone has mods and mod editors I would love to have them. thanks, paul
Update: found a bunch of mods and help at Steam on one of the B-17 II user groups site.
