Yes in single player everything works as it should minus the odd center of gravity.
The only issues are these really-


- simulation=helicopterx introduced a velocity error when translating model position coordinates to world coordinates. This completely ruined the clickable cockpit mechanic. A velocity correction routine was tried but still did not completely fix the issue.


- In multiplayer, the gun and pylons would not properly animate for the gunner. There was a 5 second delay between where the gunner aimed and the weapons following suit. The animate command was modified in such a way that it no longer transferred animation data effectively between the pilot and gunner. v1.31 for ArmA2, the gunner had control of the gun and pylon elevation exclusively and was tested with such; no issues came up. What I couldn't seem to figure out was in ArmA3, for everyone not part of the helicopter crew, the animations looked normal; but for the gunner there was always a 5 second delay.

I have both Arma2:CO full series and Arma 3

Problem nod_ah64_arma3_v131_controls.rar no longer downloadable on the armaholic page of the mod.

BTW found this mod because its now used in a really cool looking Arma 3 workshop mission! On the Steam Arma3 page.

Sorry for the late reply, the url www.armaholic.net/colombia/addons/vehicles/nod_ah64_arma3_v131_controls.rar seems to be working now.

It is required for Arma 3 so that it will fix any dependancy on Arma 2 units (pilots and materials) But remember to ONLY add the US_pbo from the Arma 2 package otherwise you will still get the conflicting errors.

@thinkr: Which workshop mission is using Nodunit`s Apache?

I wont go back to A2, so that chopper is working in A3!? Cool, have to try that.

@Nodunit: Youre shifting focus to ToH!? I thought it`s dead.

@EagleEye: Yupe Arma 3:) And I am looking to add this mod to other missions, though I'm just still learning the editor I'm getting the hang of it. A good Example I would like to add this heli to is:

Got it to work in Arma 3 using the Operation Raging Bull Scenario

Needed: CBA, ALive , FA-18 Super Hornet, Masi Weapons , AH-64D Nodunit & Franze for arma 3.

But I miss the Trainning missions from the Arma 2 version...

Where Can I get the latest Arma 2 Compatible Version.
It would be nice to get the Training Missions and Longbow 2 Music... Link?

I love this bird, even if it is WIP it's one of the best addons for A3, at least for rotor heads. Flying NOE in Altis valleys and poping up over a ridge is blast. Haven't had a chance to test MP yet.



If you liked Longbow 2 do your self a favor and DL this! Amazing work Franz and Nodunit done so far and I hope they will have time and motivation to keep working on it or even better make a version for DCS, I would be happy with a FC3 level (with clickable cockpit) and I'm sure it would sell like hot cakes.
