Well, the one mission we finally got off was great.

Most fun I've had in ARMA3 in a while. Nice to do something different.

The Unsung guys have made a beautiful, atmospheric map. Loved how we were moving slowly and there was always fear of fire from all directions. We couldn't see them and they couldn't see us half the time. Kept the suspense up. Now we just need to add some Hueys to it.

Yup ... door gunners could’ve easily suppressed that hot LZ in the rice paddy during that first test mission.

BTW, thanks for the alternate server Tao! At least we got our feet wet in ‘nam! thumbsup

Yep, I'm so sorry the server was not working yesterday.

Big thanks to Meat and Saghen for assisting in the tracking the issue!

Issue solved! Turns out CBA is required, at lest server side, to run the Unsung mod. Server is now fully working and waiting for play time bottles

Out of town the next two Saturdays. Sucks, really looking forward to these sessions but I'll be back in the new year.

The server was shut down due to the Steam fiasco. That appears to have been put back in order. Will the server be restarted for todays Vietnam session?

If not, will somebody be around to host the session on their own machine/server?

We tried four of the missions today, it went well.

The only things I should mention ; turns out CBA is required on the client side as well. I got a message saying this function missing, requires CBA Mod. I and the others loaded CBA and no more messages.

I'm getting large artifacts on screen in the jungle. Looks like shadows that were drawn for some other objects but were not removed when the object disappeared. I suspect it's a video setting as other people don't get this problem.

Thanks for the word on CBA, Prof.

Glad the server ran OK today!
