Any takers ? lol

SimHQ not exactly too hot for 7DTD. I checked Snappy's profile. He's only been doing Fallout 4.

Yep, not a hotbed of zombie survivalist here. A.13 is fun and definitely different but it is not enough fun to play solo. I'm gonna poke at it for the rest of this week before my vacay on wed and fri night. In snappys defense I'm am also roughly 42 hours into FO4, just on my ps4. Game is awesome.

Beed playing Ark recently. It's hard to join without a dedicated server of some kind. I think most of us all have different schedules. We have a small group of 4-6 that plays on a private ark server I rented. We used to run a 7d2d server but I think everyone got burned out on that one.

Hey Master, I have been interested in Ark but concerned about griefing on pvp servers. I may check back after the holidays to see if ya'll are still running that server and give it a try.

Scott

Did they ever clean up some of the performance issues?

Performance wise it is a lot better. Let me know and ill give you the link. Its like a 20 person server or something. Its set as PVP but its just us cooping for the most part. Plenty of room for more if they want to give it a try.

Well with all the updates that they made I am afraid my poor little server can't handle it anymore. The last time I put my server up was in the spring. At that time, just after random generation came out the game maxed out at around 700k memory usage.

Last night with just Snap and I on, day 1...the server hit 1.5 gig. My last death, using a bow. I was backpedaling while shooting, the game hard froze for 10 seconds. When I died, the game went back to normal'ish. I may try some non-server instances with SP and see if it is any better, but for now I think I am pulling my poor machine down.

After the christmas break, Master, I plan to take you up on your offer. Survival is just much more fun with teammates.

Damn, late to the party frown

@FW: I've been hosting a lot of 7DtD with a couple friends, but just now saw your post. Sorry to hear about your server; hopefully they continue to patch performance and you can get it back up and running. If you ever get it back up, I'm down for some coop, and might have a couple more join in as well.

@ Master: I'm also looking to get back into ARK with a few peeps because I've been pretty much lone-wolf since I bought it; and just get constantly killed\griefed and never made any progress. I would gladly try again on a good server!

If anyone wants to jump onto our ark server just PM me and ill get you the IP and PW. It's a PVE server by nature (though it is set to full PVP) so we dont really attack other humans or destroy structures. We also dont fully block up any resources.

If you want the full PVP experience there are any number of open servers you can jump onto smile
