Does anyone know if the support provider modules work in MP?

they do yes if the mission is set up to use them

I cant seem to get them to work, this is how I have tried it on an empty map;

create infantry player
place support requester
place support air supply virtual
synced them together, requester to air supply to player. tried different combos

preview the match and there's nothing in the menu, I left out signal flares etc, and I left the vehicle box blank for default and I tried different class names of helicopters but nothing still.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

interestingly I can get the call artillery module to work, do I need the helicopters DLC for the support module to work?

you have to sync the "provider" module (so air supply) to the "requester" module, then sync the "requester" module to the player

OK thanks meatshield, im getting the radio confirmation when the mission previews, but when I select the supply drop through the radio nothing happens??

hmm odd, are you calling them with the map open to set the coordinates? (basically they just drop it where the cursor is at the time you open "supports" (or just after, either or!)). Could be that its just dropping it somewhere else than expected?

Apparently there is a bug in the last update which is preventing them from working! Doh it was driving me mad! I'm making a mission in which you will need them to help balance out the odds!

The latest patch has fixed the support modules so they are now working again
