I have used MSN for years. Long ago it was free, then cheap ---- but now it is about $11 a mo. and the "new" Video massive site and popups just swallow GB as fast as I can buy them. Over those years I have built up a mass
of favorites and list of email address's. What I pick should allow both of those, along with being faster in web searching, pop up control, and "plain jane" pages that are low GB users.

Just about all have pop ups. However, AVG and I think Firefox has ad blockers. I used to use Bing and the ads was eating up resources for my games. Good luck

Question, is Firefox tied to MSN?

No, Firefox is it's own standalone web browser. I use Firefox and enjoy it. I know a lot of people also enjoy Chrome.

I use Firefox with Better Privacy and Ghostery. These two add-ons deal well with ads and cookies.

Yeah either Firefox with NoScript and the anti-adware patch, or Google Chrome, but with Chrome being from the Google hegemony, I have my doubts about it being good in the future. There's also K-meleon Web-Browser.

I use headphones and almost always don't have them on my head when web surfing. A few days ago I left them on after watching a youtube and went on to browse a news site. While I was reading an article a video ad suddenly loaded and scared the heck out of me. The volume seemed to easily be twice as loud as the youtube I'd been watching.
