ED update 2 month ago the Steam DLC list

Aircraft and Helos:
-DCS: F/A-18C Hornet
-DCS: F4U-1 Corsair
-DCS: AJS-37 Viggen
-DCS: P-47D Thunderbolt
-DCS: Spitfire Mk IX
-DCS: SA342M Gazelle
-DCS: F-5E Tiger II
-DCS: F-14 Tomcat
-DCS: M-2000C

Theaters:
-DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Range Map
-DCS: Strait of Hormuz Map
-DCS: Iwo Jima Map

Campaings
-A-10C: Enemy Within Campaign
-A-10C: Red Flag Campaign
-F-15C: Red Flag Campaign

F/A-18C, P-47D and Spitfire Mk IX , Nevada and Hormuz, and the A-10C and F-15C Red Flag has produced by Eagle Dynamics. F-5E has maked by Belsimtek, M-2000C by RAZBAM, SA342 by Polychop, A-10C: Enemy within campaign by Baltic Dragon and F-14, F4U-1, AJS-37 and Iwo Jima Map by Leatherneck (I suppose)

Only a DLC has not name (I suppose as the Normandy WW2 theatre or Me262). 2016 coming with great news, and I think that only the begin.

There should be a theater for the Viggen which I would guess will be centered on Gotland in the Baltic sea. There would be no other logical choice for a 1990-ish conflict featuring the AJS-37. It could also feature a more interesting scenario than the full on war which would be the case if the north of Sweden/Norway/Finland/Russia was the theater. I would guess it would be something along the lines of a conflict involving the Baltic states and Russia making a grab for Gotland to prevent NATO naval forces from intervening. This would of course catch Sweden off guard and there would be a frantic struggle to prevent the Russian RORO (Ivan Rogov and such) ships from deploying mech forces, SAMs, SS and helicopter gunships on Gotland. Now, enter the AJS-37 with it's RBS15 anti ship missile. Giving it a good buildup with some recon missions and air patrolling would be suitable.

I would also assume that a Viggen combat theater would feature road bases and the ground control system. This might mean taking off from one base and not knowing beforehand where to land.

VIGGEN!

I'm also hoping for such a map Charlie. What does worry me a tad is the Iwo Jima map, I hope that's an indication of what an epic place it has in WW2, as opposed to an indication of the size we can expect of the Viggen map.

Well Cobra said that Iwo was a good map to begin with. Gotland with the southern coast of Sweden and Kaliningrad to the east would be much bigger but at least lots of ocean. Add the southern coast of Finland and you can fly finnish Mig-21 fighters or even F-18s as well.

Its pretty similar to this one https://steamdb.info/search/?a=sub&q=dcs

But with greater detail

No release dates though, its a pity ED do not publish a proper road map, seen one on ED forums before but it was just wishful thinking mainly

Iwo Jima Map is news to me. I smell a Zero coming... But if we know ED, its going to be a A6M5 or a Hayate. Damn good news SD!

Is a Viggen confirmed? Not my first choice by a long shot, but I always did like the aircraft.

Based on the posts Cobra has made on ED's forum. I would say it is confirmed.
