OK here goes

I have just bought my self a pair of Thrustmaster MFD's and would like to get the MFD's and ABRIS/SKVAL in DCS world to be viewed via a pair of 7" USB monitors I have placed behind them.

In windows I have my monitors setup as in the picture below. I can easily move them around if necessary.

I only use 1 monitor (monitor 1) when flying in DCS but would like to get my MFD's on monitors 3 and 4

I have no idea how to get this to work. Can any of you guys help?
I have looked through lots of documentation but I just can't get my head around the view lua file

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

save the info below into a file called 'My Setup.lua' in the following directory "C:\DCS Open Beta 1.5\Config\MonitorSetup" replace the directory location with your system.

Select 5440 x 1080 in Options under Screen Size
Select My Setup under Monitors in Options

The height and width of 480 can be adjusted to fit within the MFD
The x and y values under MFDs can also be adjusted to fit within the MFD

_ = function(p) return p; end;
name = _('My Setup');
Description = 'My Setup'

Viewports =
{
Center =
{
x = 0;
y = 0;

width = 1920;
height = 1080;
viewDx = 0;
viewDy = 0;
aspect = screen.aspect;
}
}

LEFT_MFCD =
{
x = 3840;
y = 0;
width = 480;
height = 480;
}

RIGHT_MFCD =
{
x = 4640;
y = 0;
width = 480 ;
height = 480;
}

UIMainView = Viewports.Center

Thanks CavCpt But Mustangs file worked with a little tweaking here and there. Appreciate the offer though smile

Mustang you are a star mate. As I said your file work like a champ after one or two minor tweaks.

Cheers guys

Mustang, would you happen to know how to get the MFDs to overlay on the left and right screens outer lower corners? I'd like to stick the MFDs on those outside monitors rather than running separate monitors like soupdragon did.

Ok next question 😊😅 the mfd,s buttons work fine in the a10 and they worked straight off the bat with no programming or input from me. How do I get them to work in the black shark? The shkval and a abris both show on the mfd,s but none of the buttons work. Do I have to program them in manually?

Cheers

I haven't flown my Black Shark in a while, but I believe I had to program them in manually in the Settings, write a LUA, or use TARGET. I think I used TARGET.

What do you mean about Left and Right screens without separate monitors.

In the following dir C:\DCS Open Beta 1.5\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Input\A-10C\joystick

There are two .lua files called F16 MFD 1 and F16 MFD 2

copy them to

C:\DCS Open Beta 1.5\Mods\aircraft\Ka-50\Input\ka-50\joystick

That should work
