Undoubtedly, you added something! Moreover, on one of my preferred maps and in my beloved environment (4.09+UP2.01). I think it will be a GREAT addition to my PTO campaigns! Thank you really a lot!

I'm only a bit puzzled about those "European" buildings; how much do you think they are credible?

Thanks again,
GB

Thanks guys! I will admit, sometimes it was more work than fun. When I was making Chiang mai for instance I had to force myself to create five city blocks every night for a while, just to get through it.

Regarding the buildings, I do wish we had more traditional Burmese architecture. I had to use buildings that were available in the FMB, but it's not all so far fetched. Burma was a British colony after all; google images for "Rangoon 1941". What bugs me more than the Euro style buildings is a need for more large buildings in general.

But while it was fun to create for example a large pagoda from other objects, the result is obviously less than perfect, and worse, instead of three or four or five objects, I find I need 15 or 20. In the example of my Shwedagon, it took a....LOT of objects!

Although we lack the right objects to make a more thoroughly believable "Burma" in the sim, hopefully I have used the "European" buildings in such a way as to diminish their strangeness in the places where they are very alien. We work with what we have, and hopefully, effectively.

Thanks for explanation, Chris and all your work. Definitely, it deserves a closer look!
