So this is probably the last AAA game title releasing this year, anybody looking forward to it?

Just for what I saw,

The Bad: It is Just Cause 2 with better graphics.

The Good: Hey, It's Just Cause 2 with better graphics!!

The shooting and driving in the just cause series has always been sub par... but that grapple hook! and parachute... and throwing people out of every vehicle...

I am but I'll wait for some reviews first and maybe a sale. I love doing the things the game lets you do but as someone mention, the shooting mechanics have thus far been poor and sloppy like an action figure trying to have a gun fight with an arm that does not articulate and a pistol that feels plastic.

Just Cause 2 though had a very well done world, water and terrain textures including a great draw distance but it was filled with a whole lot of nothing and when there were enemies or civilians, they operate with a barely serviceable AI that eventually becomes disappointing and tiresome.

I hope they worked on those things because that's what needs working on the most.

Pretty much this, if it's just a decently polished version of JC2 it'll definitely be a purchase from me, I need some good mindless entertainment every now and then. ar15

As far as JC2, Bulletstorm did it better. There, said it.

I loved JC2; but it did get very repetitive after a few hours. I'm in no rush since there's little gameplay changes and there's STILL no co-op\mp.

I'll wait for reviews, and probably buy it during a sale.

The wingsuit looks fun but I don't like, even though this is a Rambo-type game, for the element of danger lessened. Watching some of these wingsuit videos where they are just constantly in flight starts to get boring looking.

I hope the mission structure is done differently than JC2.

I was eagerly anticipating JC 3 until I read that the cooperative mode was dumped.

Now I'll just wait until it's heavily discounted during a major Steam sale. I paid 5 bucks for JC 2 after all.

I had fun with jc2 for what is was. But these are not vary "deep" games. Just fun blasters really. So excited for it? Nope. Buy it? Most likely yes. Probably when it gets to the sale bin. Unless I need a mindless blaster game sooner.

JC 2 suffered through the same fundamental problem that so many other open world games suffer. The game at first is a lot of fun to play but then it gets repetitive after you've done so many side missions of the same type (ie save this guy, raid this rebel camp, steal this blueprint, blow up this refinery, etc.)

I see it as a chance to have GTA style open world with a more charismatic protagonist...

First person would be nice for some parts, wouldn't go well with the grapple and chute though.

JC 2 has multiplayer now courtesy of the modding community and it quickly degenerated into GTA style cheating and griefing...I haven't played it in over a year

Isn't the developer of the Just Cause games from Sweden?

Meh, looks more like a gta mod to me. Is the guy invulnerable or is that a setting where he can't die ?

The original Just Cause was pretty exciting.

LOL, the cows on the windmill are brilliant. And quite a credit to the game's physics engine.
