Looks a bit like an amateur project to me. The acting certainly looks somewhat stiff.

And I have to say I'm always a bit wary when I read stuff like "history is written by the victors" and "you were told they were all the same" in a WW2 context.

absolutly the same feeling.. looks like a reenactor troupe partying and the "disclaimers" like "this trailer is no propaganda" raise more suspicion then they soothe.

plus: the kid singing the "trouble" verse of the Deutschlandlied has cringeworthy accent and clearly no idea what it is singing there, especially notable in the rivers (mars&memel) bit..
