This is sad but I can't seem to get the new tank capability to work with the key commands that were provided. I can start, drive, switch to gunner and unlock the turret according to the given key commands but I can't seem to get the turret to move or the gun to fire. How about some simple advice? I downloaded the tank missions on the BOS website.

Press T and use mouse.

Pressing "T" unlocks the turret but the mouse does nothing in gunner view. I clicked using a joystick but switching to mouse still does nothing. I also use TrackIR but nothing works using or not using TrackIR as far as the turret goes. What might I be missing?

Okay, I found out part of the problem. I had the number lock on. The turret still won't operate with the mouse but does work using the number pad. Go figure The adjust gun sight key commands still do not work.

Hey bud, I had to actually default all my controls to get the mouse to start working again. Which sucks as you then would have to remap all your controls. Another fella said that he did this

- backup input folder
- default the controls
- verify mouse works for turrets
- overwrite the input folder with previously backed up folder.



Try this stuff.

Look in control for

camera control>rotate camera up/down = mouse Y
camera control>rotate camera left/right = mouse X

This should move the turret - after press "T" (if have not change this assignment) one or two times.

Hooves, resetting the input file to input did the trick! Going back to the old input files screwed it up again. Therefore I am going through and resetting all the flying key commands I had over the new default file.

Sokol1, resetting the camera commands didn't work for me. I did as above.

For what it's worth no need to default the controls go to PILOT head control set mouse to control PILOT head horizontally to x. Bow head to y
This worked for me
