Apparently a big thing over in the DCS boards:

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'd love to hear from SimHQ users please.

Also, where/how did you buy it?

That sounds fascinating! But unless they'll make it compatible with more flight sims, e.g. BoS, BMS, etc. there's no way I'd see myself getting it to be honest.

I have one, and I absolutely love it!
The effects in the A10 and the warbirds add so much immersion.

My Gametrix seat acts as a replacement for the lack of FFB joysticks.
Now I can feel when my plane is on the edge of stalling, or when touching the ground in a 2 wheel landing.

For other flightsims I'm using the soundmode of the gametrix seat. It transforms sound effects to vibrations. It's not nearly as good as the telemetry data used by DCS, but still ok.

The support depends on game, and for BoS is said that are few Jetseat users to justify add support, so "We (1CGS) don't have such plans". biggrin

I see, that's disappointing. At least knowing that, I'm somewhat more inclined to purchasing one now that I know it's not for lack of effort on their side. Thanks!

I have the Buttkicker Gamer... probably not as good but still it adds a lot to immersion and any game supports it by default. It's driven by LFE frequencies from your sound card.

It's particularly cool in BoS, I can feel the ground on taxiing, turbulence when flying through clouds, and of course gunfire from my own guns and when my plane is hit.

In CloD, I even feel the stress on the airframe at high G's!

I'm sure GameTrix is much better, but Buttkicker is cheaper, easily available and damn good!

(No, I'm not a sales rep, just a happy customer who wishes he had gotten this long ago!)

While it's no Gametrix seat, I just use the Simshaker software with a cheap bassshaker mounted under my seat.
It's very immersive, feeling the gun fire vibrate the seat, the wheels going down and locking in to place and a nice big jolt when touching down.
And much much better, than just running the bassshaker on LFE sounds I think, only downside is it takes two soundcards..
One version of SimShaker also supports iRacing and Assetto Corsa as well as DCS so it could be a good alternative to SimVibe.
