"WingnutWings" colour photo archive has added many new images from the restored Roland D.VI in the Krakow Museum. This must be the last existing original airframe of a Roland. The Poles intend to rebuild new wings to complete the airplane.
Guys, the historical B/W photo archive there is also phantastic - a "must-see"! The great WW1 air war historian Greg van Wyngarden is still constantly adding new photos from his huge collection to share them with us, and I can only say a big "THANK YOU" to Greg and to WingnutWings for this great archive!
Love the fuselage construction. Reminds me some of a wood canoe my friend's Dad built when we were in Jr High. We helped some and sometimes he'd let us have a beer for the work.

Okay, some more pics. If 3D modelling was as easy as making and painting a plastic model (which is still quite fiddly work and needs tons of patience, and calm hands, I know!), I would try and build one.
