They won't. The movie was a box office flop.

I believe this was a Kickstarter project? The only actor I recognised was Ray Wise but it was a really great film.Very low budget but eclipses most Hollwood offerings.

Interstellar, this time on Bluray.

There were some little things I think could've been done better, but overall it was a decent enough film.

I wonder how many people caught the TARS/2001 monolith connection?

If you saw 2001, you got it. Or you watched the film with your eyes shut. If you didn't see 2001, I can't imagine you would.

TARS was actually the monolith and HAL in one.

Cop Car (2015)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3813310/

When you were a kid, did you ever want to get into a police car and drive it and play with the sirens and lights and drive real fast and run stop signs and traffic lights with it?

Well this film is about what happens when 2 kids do take a police car.

That scene is the one that comes to mind first when I remember the series too.

What's funny is that in real life Shatner is pretty liberal so he did an amazing acting job on the show. smile

Hamilton: In the Interest of the Nation

It's a Swedish made spy/political thriller and very watchable. It has very similar style to recent Scandinavian films and TV series - and that's not a bad thing. If there was a rating for spy films where Tinker, Tailor was at one end, and Moonraker at the other, it would be maybe 20-30% along the scale from the former.

No huge explosions or gags, just a decent story and a spy/soldier offing the bad guys. There's a pretty shocking moment about a third of the way in that gives a bit of depth and tragedy to Persbrandt's character. I'm looking forward to watching the two sequels.

James Bond #24 Spectre (2015)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2379713/

Definitely better than Skyfall but unfortunately, I think this may very well be Daniel Craig's last Bond film.

At the end of the rolling credits it read "James Bond Will Return"

James Bond always returns but the actor playing the role may not be the same.

Just saw Spectre with my sister. Very good. Love all four of them. My sister pointed something out right at the beginning that I was taken aback by but didn't know what it was. Probably the first three to four minutes of the movie is one continuous shot! Or at least looks like it. Very well done as he walks from street level all the way up through and apartment and then onto the rooftop.

Watching this from the National Geographic channel.

Every time there is a war, it's always the poor innocent defenseless civilians, mostly women and children and babies who get caught in the middle and suffer and die for the sins of men seeking power.

I didn't know about this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_famine_of_1944

Also without starting a political discussion here, I know war is hell sometimes but what the Soviets did to the civilian population in Germany territory they conquered and in Berlin especially to the millions of women there was totally unnecessary and uncalled for.

2 wrongs don't make a right.
