Maritime Oregon.
OK first off let me apologize for hijacking the thread a bit.

I was going to mention that if you think the Fokker D.II is wild, the D.III had a 14 cylindered, twin-row Oberusal U.III, a copy of the French Gnome Lambda-Lambda, which was used in the slightly infamous Depredussion Monocoque racer, same engine as the Fokker E.IV used.

The increased power couldn't overcome the drag and nose-heaviness, although I'm guessing the rear-fuel tank of the E.IV and D.III probably tamed it somewhat. With the shorter tail moment of the early Fokker D series I'm sure this added up to additional wildness in pitch control.

Note that the Nupe 12 had a couple different engine options, plus it evolved in design in later years, in both British and French use. The Nupe 10's LeRhone 80 being too marginal with two passengers. I believe they had the LeRhone 110 ps originally, and the Clerget 130 ps later with a different engine cowl.

Barmy OFFer in questionable standing, maybe collapsed in a corner?

In that case, Pol, can we also get the D III? All you do is grab the engine from E.IV and slap it on DII. Should be easy?

And assemble the engine again."

Yes, I absolutely agree, Polovski did a fine box art there!
I would actually LOVE to receive at least WOFF GOLD in such a beautiful package.
Though I guess that would raise the cost for it, and then I can already hear the next complaints again.

But wouldn't it be lovely, if we could hold it in our hands like that?
If it would be a "3-dimensional hardware real-life package" of what we love so much?

I'm guessing a dvd would be offered as is done with WOFF 1 due to the large size.

I really like my old game boxes from back in the day..late 90's and early 00's. I set my CFS3 box next to my WOFF and OFF dvd cases. yep No shortage of of IL2 boxes here ..... hahaha
