I always loved watching that guy.

I painted when young. He blew me away!

Love watching his show. And probably played a part in my getting into painting.

Sad. He died from lymphoma at the age of 52.

Watching the joy of painting was a great time from my childhood.Crazy fact I recently learned is he did not have an afro naturally, instead he permed his hair to save on haircuts.

I remember replicating some of his techniques on a real oil canvas when I was young. Probably early High School.

Now I have Corel Painter which tries to replicate traditional tools... meh... it doesn't come close.

Have to come up with my own techniques for each brush in the software.

I love this guy, I remember getting in an argument with my art teacher in HS because he said this wasn't art because it was done on a timeline.

I always wanted to try this stuff, so wish I did.
