Worked for me, but Cliffs of Dover didn't run at all, so I rolled back.

I tried Win 10 for a while but found not a single advantage over Win 8.1

Cliffs of Dover runs very well for me in win 10.

I just installed BOS on a brand new Windows 10 machine today. Works well but BOS crashes on exit 2 out of 3 times. Given that it is a new machine everything is up to date and there is almost nothing else on the machine. I never experienced this on Windows 7. I have been reading and some people say: 1) that it is best to close the launcher before you exit the game or 2) do not run the launcher and just start the game executable directly.

Anyone else experience this?

The (BoS) Launcher only worth for updates - and if one try start the game after a update was released the game will say that are outdated.

So make a shortcut for the il2.exe in \bin\game\ folder is a wise idea - and set then to run "As administrator".

Have had no issues with Win10 and BoS, neither with the launcher or exit crashes, perhaps this could be an issue with window/settings compatibilities or corrupted game files.

Using the iL2.exe is a legitimate workaround but may point to a more deep seated basic problem, always make sure BoS (or other sims) are installed outside of program files

BOS is installed outside of program files and I did another reinstall just to make sure there were no corrupted game files. I checked dxdiag and all is well with DirectX. Given that this is a pristine machine I think this is an ideal time to try and track down why this happens? Dakpilot - do you happen have a TrackIR installed? I did note that when it crashes on exit the TrackIR stops functioning. Maybe an incompatibility with the TrackIR software? Just guessing.

At least as a test, perhaps try running it in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

I just upgraded to Windows 10. No trouble with BoS or any game, peripherals etc. 10 is actually rather nice.

One big issue here however, Watch out if you're using CH. I'm not sure if it affects other plug and play controllers.
It sounds like this affects 8.1 as well. Basically Windows will keep scrambling your "joy#" numbers which are read by the game.

Affects any game that doesn't read the actual name of the controller and just relies on the joy#
DCS and ARMA for example are immune.

No problems here and I'm running Win10 through Bootcamp on an iMac, so if it is going to be a problem my rig would be a worse case scenario.
Everything else like ATAG CoD works fine.
