Yup, it definitely seems that a role playing scenario is key to how they view their sim's evolution. I'm thinking despite Damon's claims, that their historical side of things will be interpretative. And I'd love to be wrong about this.


They also seem to be a rather insular studio, which is evident in their 'values' statement on their home webpage.

What about their "Ace of Aces" game? It says it's currently under development for a new version. Is this in addition to Red Baron? I'm not sure how focused these guys are.

You may certainly ask, however it sounds like others have asked to lend their help as well for historical research and such and were rebuffed. Doesn't hurt to try though.

IIRC Ace of Aces was a precursor of intent to RB, I don't think it went anywhere either.

Wasn't it originally 'released' around 2007? There's hardly anything about it online, No game reviews nor much on announcements of it's release.

I'd prob have bought it for light entertainment. However I think it's dead in the water.
