Where will this gem go now that crowd funding failed? I got an email stating since the intended financial goal was not received, monies were not charged. I'd gladly donate to see this come to fruition but haven't seen anything about the way ahead for the team developing this. It's certainly great to see updated screen shots, confirming it hasn't been dropped.

Apparently, the release was never threatened by a failed Kickstarter campaign. According to the game's Kickstarter page, the funds raised would have been used for certain extra features, with the core game (including the detailed, dynamic campaign) already assured.

Ahhh! Thanks for the clarification, Though I contributed to the fund, I didn't fully notice the fine print and just really wanted a sim of this caliber on my hard drive. I really look forward to this once released.

Maybe, if sales are better than expected, they'll make enough to continue with development. The extra features that were Kickstarter funded, may get released at a later date.

Let's hope that it delivers what they claim and it's successful.

I'd love to see a flight sim with a functioning single player campaign.

If it received good reviews from the people here, I'd buy it......

Until then.....I'm up again tonight with IL2/FB/DBW.....in my 'very well used', P-51... wink

Agreed! I will most likely buy this as soon as it's available...it's been so long since anyone has taken a shot at a dynamic campaign that it will be worth a look for me.

So true - it's been a long time since there was a title that offer the player a reason to fly and not only eye-candy with bling bling. Will buy this title for this reason alone and if it's good, any sequel too.

Here is the link

After 10 years of heavy flight simming I've finally figured out what I want. The "sim" part can take a back stage but the "campaign" part must be good (tis entirely myself ofc). So I'll definitely definitely support this.

Agree, I like to be an element in an ongoing war were my actions/decissions have an influence on the whole campaign. I really miss the feeling I had when playing the sim`s from the past, like the Janes series. Hopefully CAP2 will fill this gap.
