Flat shadows corrected.
Incorrect behavior of AI when performing a radio command Hold position is fixed.
Transmit Message Subtitle will no longer disappear immediately.
Missing civilian road traffic restored.
Fixed default aspect ratio in the 1280x768 display resolutions options.

AI

Fixed issue with countermeasures that have no impact on missile tracking.
Corrected crank maneuver of AI fighters after missile launch. AIs will no longer perform a crank when in visual range and close combat.



Multiplayer

Server list sorting is fixed.
Multiplayer interface will no longer appear if take control in multiplayer track.
Slot (Role) list will not shift when a user chooses role after scrolling.
Game will no longer crash if a user attempts to spawn into a module they do not have installed.

Incorrect position of cargo when flying over water is fixed.

Does anybody have any issues with the game freezing (pausing), usually for 1-3 seconds but sometimes even for 30 (thirty!) seconds? During that period there is almost no HDD activity and the game keeps playing sounds, After unpausing game continues where it paused, there is no.frame drop.

EDIT: My post concerns single player.

So far nothing like that for me. My playing has been limited to 30 minutes tops. 4yo iMac.

The Jedi Master

Has anyone else noticed how the TOWs look now? I just flew the Stray eagle mission in the Huey and I almost fell off my chair when one of the Cobras shot a TOW across my nose. I tried to get a screenshot of it but it doesn't do it justice at all. Those double flames and the thin curving smoke trails ... I can't wait for the belsimtek AH1 now.

Very nice improvement of the FPS in that mission too. The FARP has too much stuff so earlier it was limping along in the beginning .. not so anymore.

I really can't praise beta 1.5 enough. The amazing performance increase, the absolutely stunning lighting and (for me) most importantly the much improved object rendering has really done wonders to the sim. It has become so much easier to spot other aircraft that we can finally use proper wingman tactics and actually have fun in dogfights rather than play "spot the dot" half the time.
