I'm seeing some guys who have been really critical with this game starting to change their tone....with every new update that comes out. I wouldn't look for this title in a bargain bin...for a long time. In fact...it could very well be one of the best WWII flight sims of all time. Not sure if it can hold that title and for how long..without updating the platform and OR support, but heck...it's coming along really well...

Yep...there hasn't been a post in the extended discussion section in almost a month...things are settling down. I will give this another go when the summer map is released.

I am holding out for PWCG, though I will be curious to see reports on the new BOS campaign that is coming...

Apologies for my ignorance but the Summer Map is for free or a DLC?

If you already have BoS, it's free.

If they are true to form I'll wait until four months after BoM release for the 50% off sale. That is if PWCG is released and works as planned.

Have to admit the videos looked nice.

There is also a free Murmansk map coming (maybe the end of the year) and Zeus also said if he had time he would so an autumn/summer Velikie Luki version as well but that's not confirmed.

The Murmansk project is on stop right now.
The volunteers working on it are facing real life problems.

That's a shame frown

I hope at least whatever problems they're having get better, we were lucky enough to get the VL map for free.

I am encouraged, but remain skeptical. The addition of story missions and new types sounds encouraging. However, I will still keep my cash until I see it materialize.
