I use 7-Zip. Easy to use and never had any issues with it, oh and it's free. Mick. http://7-zip.en.softonic.com/

I somehow ended up with one that was a "30 day wonder"....after that, it didn't work, just asked for money. I tried to use it just now and found out. I know I used to have one that was free....'forever'...on my old WinXP OS. Didn't save it, when I moved to Win7Pro. Thanks for the info guys.....I appreciate the help. Working now. Flying later tonight

But works fine.

I use a free copy of WinRar I got in 2006.
Everytime I start it, it tells me it expires in 45 days and then I have to pay.
I click okay or cancel.
It still tells me that to this day and it still works for free.
We didn't have 7z back then and even after 7z came along, this old version, almost 10 years old, opens 7z too. I never open winrar, just right clicking on zip file will give you the option unzip it with it. No asking to upgrade or pay. Mine is about as old to.

I use http://www.philippwinterberg.com/software/free_rar_extract_frog.phpYes, Free RAR extract Frog is the name of the program. I've been using it since the first version, and for some reason the sight of the Frog sitting there enjoying the sun makes me smile every time I use it. That for whatever reason has kept me with that program for years. Stupid reason, probably. but hey it makes me smile. -Jenrick

WinRar can be had for free http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm , it will occasionally ask if you want to buy it but it will still work just fine.

Yeah, I've used 7 zip since before Windows 7 came out. Still do.
