I miss "Squirt-Da-Cat"....

...here is my new Feline Friend.

No Name yet.
Might call him "Dusty" as he explores nooks and crannies coming out totally covered in dust.

He misses the clowder of cats at the barn I took him from this afternoon.

He looks cute - and a bit like he needs some comfort.
What about "Blacky"?

Well, hello there.

Remember, left/right to roll, and up/down is the pitch. If a mouse appears in your sights, take it down.

Looks like a good one MudWasp! Long live Dusty. He looks just like Watson, our orphan who is 5 months now.

Yup, Dusty looks like a mouser, just check out those eyes. We have three cats, all of them getting up there in years. The oldest is a house cat and she's 13, and the other two are barns cats and they're 9, (brother and sister). All three are first-rate mousers.

Heh, he's a cute one! I will admit though, it took me a moment to figure out what was going on in the picture, I thought for a sec the Lady of the Lake was reaching up to give him to you..."Whoever pulls forth this cat from the stone shall be king!" Best of luck and long 9 lives to him!

Funny Rick, I thought my hand looked strange in that pic too.

He has settled in well and knows where the basics are, food, water, and litter box. Also discovered a few toys I set up for his entertainment. Feathers on the end of an old kid's fishing pole is the winner. Fishing for kitten is a hoot.

Brave Dusty made friends with my old hound dog, who had been rather mopey after the recent passing of her mother. The old hound let him use her tail as a toy for a minute or two before licking him repeatedly.

That is a real wicked looking cat, mate smile2

(Wicked as in cool - not wicked as in unspeakably evil. But then again - with cats - who knows? winkngrin )

Cute kitty, glad you got him when he's young!!

When our neighbors abandoned their house, we took on their two feral cats. They were too old to socialize well, but I managed to get them spayed & shots, etc. We can only pet/brush them when they are eating, they won't let us near them otherwise.

Long life to Dusty!

I'll always miss Squirt.
I'm glad Dusty came in to fill the void.
