I have a drive with Windoze 7 and WOFF installed. It works very well. I will not update any form of Windoze on to that drive and will play WOFF there.

So then I will not have to worry about Windoze 8 or 9 or 10 or 11 or 12 or 13 ..... on the other drives I have.

ps I do have other drives with W8 and W10 but those have nothing to do with my WOFF installation.

A politically acceptable use for the term "Segregation". I too, use the same approach via muli-boot.

Or just stick with W7 as long as possible.
By the time I am forced to change hopefully they will have W10 unf^*+@&.
And my new W10 system will be delivered by drone.

Please Gentlemen. Lets not over react.

There's nothing wrong with Windows 10 that Windows 12 Service Pack 3 can't fix. biggrin

And having got W7 to work well I have turned off Updates (as they say, what is new about New Updates - new bugs!) And when playing WOFF I disconnect from the Internet anyway.

The frightening things about W10 are the forced automatic updates and the fact that Bill Gates is checking what you do all the time.

There was a W7 update that did just that - KB something or other that ended in 33.

I have no issues with WOFF and Windows 10. Oh, and you can turn off that automatic update stuff, like I did. smile

I turned it off by formatting the drive ..... Now I have 2 x W7 and 1 x W8.1 The last I have so I can understand the cr@p that the guys I look after must suffer ....

My advice is to stick with W7 until forced to 'upgrade'. Micro$oft rather remind me of the Ford Motor Company in the UK a few years ago. All their cars were rubbish when first made and gradually got better - it took about a year.

The worst of the lot was the 'coke bottle' Mk 2 Cortina which had a British engine and a German gearbox and axle. You needed two sets of spanners to work on it - and it needed a lot of work. I knew a guy who had 3 clutches 2 gearboxes and a back axle replaced under warranty. Then he got rid of it quick!
