BB-8 from The Force Awakens
Very ingenious, and I bet kids today will love to play with it... for a couple of hours and then forget it.
I would like to say the child me would want one, but at $150 the child me would had been told NO.
I did collect Star Wars toys for a while when the original trilogy was re-released, and even had the remote controlled R2-D2. But there came a time when I realized I was wasting shelf space, sold them, made a nice profit, and that was that.

Kids these days still play with toys?
As for me, I had a ton of SW toys in the late 70's and early 80's. I think I dumped them all by 1985 or so.

IIRC I must have had pretty much every toy except the Death Star and Star Destroyer bridge sets. Then, when I was in my later teens, my Mom sold everything at a flea market.
Aaaargh!
In retrospect, I should at least have kept the Aluminium Millenium Falcon , and the main character action figures. The only figure that escaped my mother was Yoda.

Why men throw their lives away attacking an armed Witcher... I'll never know. Something wrong with my face?

LOL! I guess I'm just basing my opinion on the kids of my friends that I've seen who always have their face buried in a tablet or smartphone.

My girls like playing on their tablets, too, but spend just as much time if not more playing with their toys. Older turns 7 tomorrow (!!!) and she wanted a couple of toy animals for her presents. Granted they take batteries and move and make sounds and such, but they're still toys.

Revell got the license for the Star Wars kits and got the molds from Fine Molds. 1/72nd is the largest they're putting out for the Millennium Falcon, which is the Fine Molds kit, and they have a few new kits as well. Here's info on their flyer:
