Tempted to start from the beginning 1970? and buy these pdf books, anyone have an opinion on them? Also Over the Front i assume is based in the USA and is a different publication and doesn't offer pdf?
I am thinking because i am in the UK and Cross and Cockade do pdf these would be better to start collecting.

Thankyou.

I have been a member of both.
C&C back as a child in the late 70's (they must have been American based at one time) and I have doing OTF off and on in my adulthood.
I think it's awesome to collect the ,pdf's especially when you can see what they contain. Which is why I am on/off with OTF. Some years are full of great articles and some I do not care for and the entire issue is a bust.

Wow, I didn't know you could get C&C as a pdf. I've really enjoyed both in the past. I would be interested in restarting with those pdfs.

If my arm is twisted I have always preferred C&C.
My overwhelming area of interest is in the Western Front and C&C always did a fine job of covering that - at least back in the day.
OTF seems to do some but also a lot of period aviation in general. Valuable stuff to be sure but not what I wish to focus my limited time and attention on.

I looked at getting back to C&C recently at their website (still have my first issue from 1978) but how to do so, as a North American, didn't jump out at me. Guess I look again in the future.
