Remembering our lost countrymen, and good people who died that day, is what this thread is about.

I remember that day, and always will.

I remember the 3000 innocents who died that day.
I remember the thousands of site workers who still suffer health problems (including death before their time) as a result of that day.
I remember the hundreds of innocent American Muslims and Sikhs who have been victims of hate crimes (including murder) as a result of that day.
I remember the thousands of US (and allied) service men and women who have given their lives and limbs as a result of that day.
I remember the 100,000+ Iraqi/Afghani innocents (particularly women and children) who have died as a result of that day.

That such a small group could unleash an ever-widening ripple of suffering into this world will never cease to amaze me. Remembering is an important starting point. But what can we do to break that ripple?

The solution to that problem belongs in the PWEC.
And I'd love to see that, 'solution', discussed in the PWEC forum.
I have a lot of personal 'opinions and ideas'....but they don't belong in the Community Hall, and certainly not in a thread meant to respect, and remember, the victims of that day.

I wouldn't want to slander their memories, by continuously mentioning their dead, blind, murderers.
There will always be other unknown ignorant people who will take their place. They're all, insignificant sheep.

The valuable people, and the important issue here, are the victims, the innocent women and children, and hero's who we lost on that day. IMHO.
