My pilot comes from a long line of bratwurst chefs. His crate's design is pretty simple. I didn't want to stray too far from the coloring of my new team. The lucky horseshoe (stolen from an NFL-Indianapolis Colts helmet) is a little large, but I can make it work. Behind him is a stock Jasta 12 Alb D.II for comparison. Another comparison of the top half. The upper fuselage is reddish due to that coloring on the rudder. I didn't think camo would go well with a black fuselage so greyed it out. An interesting side effect is my stabilizer is entirely invisible when flying over clouds. I did very little with the lower fuselage, intentionally because of the wooden coloring of part of the rudder. I've probably done better (I've definitely done worse) but I like the simple aesthetics. Let's fly!

Glad you're on board! Have a go at it and throw up any questions you have and we'll see if we can help! I hope a horseshoe that big brings us all luck, CatKnight!

. .....Still love your bad fish from a while back...and lost it...usual reasons. If you have it still....I'd trade a John Dory for your old skin any day if I ever make DIII. Do please send it along if it's still in your system. I loved that skin!! Cheers.....bonne chance!! gaw, I save everything, (and my place looks like it), so of course I still have your livery from the last challenge. You have mail Sir, and in your mail is not only the skin you requested but a little something extra you may find useful right about now: Enjoy! Lou .

. Rick, it was a simple one to knock together as I had the graphics built from gaw's prize of last year: Also Rick, as it looks like you missed my earlier post in this thread, I have again offered a custom skin as a prize for this challenge, to complement the wonderful book Robert has graciously offered. .

. hee hee, shows how observant I can be Rick. More coffee - STAT! Mark, you are more than welcome, and thank you for your generosity as well Sir. EDIT: Nietzsche, you snuck that one in while I was posting. Very interesting camo, has an almost naval quality to it. Well done. .

You are quite welcome Gordy, glad you like it. BTW, is that a Strutter you and your wingman are having a go-round with? Between you two and the Archie it doesn't look like that Sop has a prayer.
