Nice pics. Got any info on the Mossie? Is that N114KA?

Good call on that one.

Superb pix and no crowds obscuring the kites as always happens in UK!

I understand that Kermit Weeks owns the Mossie in the pic and that he has another one stored at Oshkosh that may one day return to the skies.

Nice to see the Lanc made it back across the pond. When can we have our engine back? biggrin

Yea, Kermit Weeks was there for a meet and greet with everyone, if the line wasn't so long to meet him, we would have done it. We left at about 2 in the morning to get up there right at opening, you only get an hour or two before it gets too crowded for pictures. And unfortunately, on getting your engine back, it's not looking good, thinking we might hang on to those, they are amazing.

I'm talking specifically about the engine that was borrowed from the BBMF because Vera blew one of hers whilst visiting over here.

Actually,on googling it,I see it's been returned. All is good in the world again smile

I have another question! Is that the Harrier that is in private hands?

Yes, that Harrier is the privately owned one. First time I've seen one in person, glad there is still one or two around for people to see, jet has character that no other does.

I've been lucky to see one in a display.Even though the airstrip was set well back from the crowd, when it does its hover display in front of you it's one noisy S-O-B!

I would absolutely recommend going up there if you have even had the slightest interest in going up there, impressive to see that many planes in one spot. Thanks for the compliment, I've seen many of your pictures Dave, I'm jealous of that Sigma lens you have there, I'm stuck with a 200mm. But being that it's just a fun hobby, can't justify the price for a longer lens. You take some amazing pictures with it though, I'll just enjoy your pictures.

Some of mine and idk how you got those photos without many people around. I'd like to know what days you were there because it is always packed.

Ok I am NOT DONE posting photos at this Facebook page. I am still going through photos re-sizing, cropping, switching to panoramic view that sort of thing. Its in the open so anyone can see it. It is also my mothers page I just post on it since its easier that way.

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=...amp;pnref=story

I go every year as I live up here and its only a 1.5 hour drive for me. There is pictures from other years on that link as well. Some years I haven't taken pics at due to several reasons. Next year I am going back to camping the week as there is just too much to see and do in 1 Day. Plus being perm disabled now I have to use a scooter to get around stuff like this so I take my time while I am there.

Thank you!

Okay the rest of the photographs are uploaded! Added another 49 photographs!

I had close to 2600 photographs to go through,re-size, switch to panoramic view and of course binned some of them that were blurry or duplicates. Hope everyone enjoys the pictures and some pictures from 2012 & 2014 can also be found at the Facebook Page below. If you decide to use one for a desktop background or share one just please give me credit that is all I ask because they are all owned and copyrighted by me. But I share and do this because not everyone can get to the Largest Air Show in the World. It plays hell on me because of my rare syndrome and it causes me to go down for a week afterwords in which I hardly leave the bed or the couch but it is worth every minute of the hell I endure for my recovery. Next year for #OSH16 I will be there for a week with a nice camper. I am hoping to be there every day with maybe one day where I just sit and recover and relax with others. The Camping places around EAA Wittman Regional are a constant non-stop party and it is sooooooooooo much fun! Enjoy the pictures, share them with friends and others in the hobby we all enjoy!!

Well I got news to share. One of the Photographs I took at EAA Airventure Oshkosh is going to be published in the CAF or Commemorative Air Force's Magazine. If you live here in the States they pretty much own and fly most of the WWII Warbirds that all of us love and enjoy at Air Shows. They asked for permission to use it in their magazine with full credit and all that of course going to me. I've been published before but it was a long time ago and was for another Photograph I had taken at a EAA show in the early 2000s. Kinda nice to be noticed especially with a Organization like the CAF!
