I'm writing a story and need some information on the London area. Being from the US, I have absolutely no knowledge of the area during WWI other than what documentaries say. I'm more interested in developing my main character who from a wealthy family, so I'm not sure where a suitable "wealthy" family would live in London (father is involved with politics so that adds some info). Really, any info to build this character to some authenticity would be great.
