That Typhoon looked great in the WW2 colors, they should keep it that way and let whoever wins the RAF's top gun contest fly it for a year.

Maybe he is senile? No politician could be that stupid. The pilot of that Typhoon following the Spitfire was probably cursing to himself: Faster, Spitfire, go faster! My engine going to bloody stall here in a minute!

The pilot of the Typhoon was smiling, he was behind a Mk.IX and not the Mk.IIA, otherwise he would have had to work a bit more and the poor Mk.IIA would have been balls out with the throttle to the stop - something nobody does with warbird engines these days. NH2112 agreed, certainly less boring than the normal grey.

It's not senility. He's been doing it since the 50's.It's called speaking his mind.Maybe he shouldn't in his position but it's refreshing in these days of political correctness.

Lol, a lot of what he has said would get your average person shot.
He does make me chuckle though.
That Farrow bloke you executed today, are you sure he's dead? Well I chopped his head off, that usually does the trick. Yes, don't get clever with me Baldrick. I just thought you might have lopped off a leg or something by mistake. No, the thing I chopped off had a nose.

Wow, that looks interesting! Any more info on it?

Wow, that looks interesting! Any more info on it? It was in 2011, to celebrate 100 years of naval aviation: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1146360_.html&page=1

There's a bit more backstory about the Typhoon paint job... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-32827538"He was damaged and wounded and was in the process of bailing out when an enemy aircraft appeared in front of him, so he climbed back in - shot down the enemy aircraft - then continued with his bail out."

Hmmm Would you invite anyone like that to appear at your birthday party? (And, if the answer is 'yes', why not act like this yourself?) "Damn woman, don't eat that cake. You're fat enough as it is already!" "You call this an apple pie? I've eaten cardboard that was easier to chew!" "Can anyone turn off that infernal rock music! I can barely hear myself think"
