P-40 for dcs is like a fart in the dark with no WWII environment. I've shelved the series until they release something worth while, like world 2.0, f-18, or Ah1W. Thank god I have BOS / BOM to bring new content for the sim summer.

A few months ago, I was sure I would buy this as soon as it was released. That was before the Hawk and C-101 shenanigins.
Both were early/beta releases with promises of upgrades and so-on, none of which has materialised.
Now, you can argue about waiting for DCS World 2 as much as you like, but I didn't buy it for DCSW2, I bought them for what I have now. Besides which, who knows when we will finally get a working version of DCSW2 to use?
So these excuses are irrelevant to me. After years of giving the benefit of the doubt to these devs (that includes both ED and 3rd parties) I won't be doing so any more. At some stage, everyone has had enough, and after looking forward so much to the Hawk and Aviojet and their supposed updates "by the end of Q1/2015", that point has arrived for me. Hell, I can't even use the C-101EB cockpit properly and I'm fed up of half-modules and empty promises that actually, aren't, it seems.
Instead of "Everything is subject to change" as they and the 3rd parties so enjoy shoving in our faces, I think it should say "Take With A Pinch of Salt". TWAPS. There ya go - new acronym for our expectations.

But they are still just words - and we've had enough of those to last a lifetime.
It's time to put up or shut up.
Actually - they've now done the latter - I rest my case.

DCS Kickstarter Wags July 2014 "In this July 2014 update, the primary news is in regards to the restructured backer rewards. After a careful review of the older system under RRG, we found it financially unattainable." Wags October 2017 "the investment vs. generated revenue has been excellent for the World War II aircraft. In fact, the P-51D Mustang has twice the cost effectiveness of the A-10C Warthog."
